Wobble Stools Will Help Kinder Friends Focus and Learn

My Students

I teach Kindergarten in a racially diverse Title I school that serves the needs of a broad range of learners. I have students from many countries and many languages are represented in my class. Half of my students are English learners. My students are curious and eager kindergartners. They ask many questions and engage each other daily.

My class is an engaging and student-centered environment where each child has individualized learning goals.

I work hard to provide a multileveled program for the multiple levels of learners in my room.

My Project

These wobble stools will be used in my class by all my students. Wobble stools are being used in many classrooms and have helped many students learn. They will be available to all students. Giving students optional seating arrangements will make it easier for each child to find their best way to work by giving them an outlet for the anxious kinder energy.

The wobble stools are intended for the students who need an outlet for their physical energy, but they will benefit the entire classroom.

The stools will be made available to all students throughout the day. They will be an additional option in the already diverse seating options offered in my class. I've used alternative seating already, adding this option will only improve kinder students' ability to make choices that will improve their own learning; making them more independent and accountable to themselves.
