Wobble Stools for Successful Southland Rebels

My Project

What I love most about teaching is a school year filled with newly energized students with unique personalities. While some students can easily focus, others have a more difficult time. Flexible seating allows students to take ownership of their own learning by redirecting energy in a more productive way.

Wobble stools have been shown to be helpful in increasing focus for many students when they're in the classroom.

The wobble stools will allow my students to move their bodies while being engaged learners without disrupting others. By being able to move their bodies in school while sitting down, they can release their energy so they're able to focus on what they're learning.

My goal is to provide each of my students with the best and most efficient learning environment possible. Our day consists of independent work, small groups, and whole group learning so alternative seating would be a welcome addition to our classroom. Having more options for flexible seating will allow my students to stay focused, stay on task, and do their best work!
