My students need alternative seating in the classroom. Balance disks, bands to use won existing desks, and lap desks will help give options for increased engagement and greater participation.
Our students love learning and coming to school! They are inspired when given new and creative opportunities. Alternative seating will promote active and engaged learning. Our school services a variety of family dynamics, cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds (reimbursable meals served annually: 2.5 million). Our school is part of an inclusive district, which means we provide kids the opportunity for the most authentic learning and least restrictive environment possible.

My Project
Alternative seating will provide our students with greater engagement, which will affect their achievement. Giving all students options within the classroom environment will give them freedom to foster their creativity, stimulate them to remain focused, and help them process information more effectively.
Flexible seating, like the scoop and wobble chairs, will give students extra movement and let them be more productive learners!
Students will be empowered in their learning by having a choice of seating and greater control. Students can more easily get into groups around the room for collaborative projects without moving desks. Flexible seating makes learning more engaging, active, enthusiastic and fun!
