I work with the youngest learners in our school cooperation. My students enter my classroom at age 4 ready to spend the year learning all things to prepare them for Kindergarten. My students have a wide range of cognitive, emotional and social backgrounds. Many of these children have been through challenges in their lives, yet they show up day after day with big smiles, hugs and ready to learn.
My students are very curious about all the different ways to learn!
Seeing my students grow, not only academically, brings great joy to my heart. They really enjoy hands on learning and ways that allow them to learn independently.
We currently have regular stools for our small group table, which are easily tipped over or the metal legs become bent/broken. I am looking to replace our current stools with a safer option for the children. Wobble stools allow movement without the fear of tipping over.
I would like to add six wobble stools to our classroom in order to give students the flexibility while learning.
I know many of my students would love having these wobble stools in our classroom if it would help them to work/learn more independently. I plan to use these stools at our kidney table where small group activities take place.
