Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a first year teacher, I am beyond excited to be teaching first grade this year. My students mean the world to me. They are a perfect combination of varying abilities, backgrounds, and needs that all come together for the same purpose, to learn and love school.
Supplying my students with the necessary educational tools is a critical step toward their success.
First graders are little wiggle worms and love to move. I have been looking into the option of flexible seating in order to create a fun, but highly beneficial classroom setting for a while now. I truly believe students do their best when they are comfortable. By adding wobble cushions I know my students will be able to better maintain their focus and be physically and mentally engaged.
My Project
My first graders love to learn and explore everything around them. In my classroom I have fourteen wonderful students that would benefit greatly with the use of Bintiva Inflated Stability Wobble Cushions.
My hope is to provide selective seating in my classroom, and improve behavior issues from my fidgety kids, as well as increase their learning and academic performance.
Bintiva Wobble Cushions will allow my students some movement while sitting on the carpet or in their chair, increase their attention spans, and make them more motivated and actively engaged in the classroom. Flexible seating will also allow my students to have fun while learning.
