Wobble Chairs to Help us Focus and Learn!

Help me give my students a wobble chair to support them when they get "the wiggles" and need an accommodation to help them focus.

My Students

My third grade students love to learn! They come to school every day eager to learn, grow, and help each other. They are extremely enthusiastic and love any task that involves hands-on learning, acting, or performing.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds - we have students who are above grade level, below grade level, foster, have learning disabilities, emotional trauma and more.

These differences make us a family, and we depend on each other every day as we learn and grow together.

My Project

All students learn in different ways, and some students have difficulty sitting still while trying to process information. They need a way to allow their bodies to move as they learn. These wobble chairs will aid them in that endeavor.

When a child is provided with an accommodation that helps them process information in a way that supports their learning style, they learn more!

These wobble chairs will be a huge help for those students who are kinesthetic learners. Not only will they be able to maintain focus during instruction, but they will retain more information as they learn, thus increasing their academic achievement.
