This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are one of a kind! They come to school each day with a smile on their face and excited to learn! Being in 2nd grade however can be tough at times! I require my students to reach for the stars, learn to their fullest extent, and encourage them to always do their best!

Last year, our district was impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

It was a crazy and scary time for our students and staff but nothing held us back!

My Project

It can be very difficult for some students to work all day at their desk with a standard chair. Having a set of wobble chairs in my room will allow for my students to move while continuing to learn and master all their 2nd grade standards. Flexible seating has proven to work for many students in classrooms around the world, and I believe it would be very beneficial for my students as well.

By donating to this project, you will not only help to greatly improve and increase student attention and focus, you will also help increase student academic achievement and a love for learning.
