Wobble Chairs for the Wiggles

Help me give my students some alternative seating with wobble stools; which are a great way to promote active sitting at your desk, as the constant rocking movement keeps your body engaged while you work.

My Project

Third grade is such a transitional year. The students are trying to show they are ready for upper elementary but are still holding on to so many wiggles and high energy levels that you see more frequently in the primary grades. Movement helps kids to concentrate and engage in learning. Wobble stools offer a non-intrusive way for kids to get extra stimuli, which promotes their ability to focus during instruction. I am looking to add some alternative seating in my classroom that helps students become active, engaged, and enthusiastic about being in the classroom.

Plus, wobble chairs are WAY more fun than traditional seating and the kids beg to have the one wobble stool that we currently have.
