My Students
M first grade classroom is full of excited, bright, enthusiastic, and creative students. They are working hard to will learn new things and grow. They will work together in groups and individually to grow and learn.
I teach at a small rural school where my students come from hard working homes.
The families in our community have been there for many generations. Many of my students parents were once students at our school.
There is not always money to get the extra supplies that help a classroom run smoothly, although these students deserve the best.
My Project
Many first graders are expected to sit and learn for extended periods of time. Many do not have the maturity to sit for long. Wobble stools allow them to sit, wobble, and learn. They will also help the rest of the class not get distracted by the noises and movement of these active students.
Wobble stools will help some students focus, move, and work all at the same time.
The felt will be used to line the bottom of the stools so it will cut down on the noise level as it rolls while they learn. All children deserve the opportunity to learn in the best environment possible with all the tools to help.
