My Students

My 20 kindergarten kids are eager, enthusiastic and active learners. The students range from age 5-6. I want to create a classroom that encourages kinesthetic and tactile learning, inspires curiosity and leads them to be lifelong learners. They love to sing, interact with books, play math games, and move and engage in hands-on activities. My school lacks the resources to provide the flexible seating that can innovate and stimulate their learning experience. We have seen great strides in their academic abilities with our active learning equipment and want to keep the momentum of lifelong learners.

My Project

My students come to school ready to learn. They enjoy the opportunity for flexible seating options. Wiggling, wobbling, tapping, turning....my kinesthetic learners are keeping their bodies and mind busy.

Wobble seats will encourage movement and keep my students focused on the lesson.

Research has proven that the kinesthetic learning process enables a more effective understanding and retention of information. Wobble seats are a great way to incorporate movement during our mini lessons. Learning with this style will make my kids have their bodies and minds continually moving and growing! Active bodies = Active minds!
