My Students

I am one quarter away from finishing my first year in 3rd grade! Prior to this year, I taught 1st grade for three years. More and more in education there seems to be a new trend in accommodating learning styles for students, which I think is wonderful and necessary!

I recently got 3 wobbly seats and 1 wiggly seat for my students and it has been tremendous!

All of my students like using the seats and my hope for the next school year is to have them available for all students!

My Project

I am hoping to have several more wobbly stools for my students. If you haven't seen these, check them out! Students still sit but their stool has a curved base which allows them to wiggle and move while listening or doing their work!

I have 3 in my classroom already thanks to Donorschoose!

I have loved them and my students anxiously await to see if they are one of the kids to use them as their seat for the day! My goal is to get one for each student that wants one! They can move them easily to wherever they are working around the room!
