We, the fourth grade team, are asking for ink cartridges to help offset the costs of setting up a new reading program and the costs of student materials for implementation of the program. We are printing new visual materials that align with the program, and doing this has used a significant amount of ink.
Our goal for this project is to fully implement the new reading program our district has provided us for the 2024-2025 school year.
The curriculum is rigorous and will stretch teachers and students as we are adjusting to it. We want to provide every opportunity for success.
As I have implemented some of this new program as a trial run the end of the 2023-2024 school year, the students have engaged with the new curriculum. I have experience their excitement and energy when they learn difficult words like atrium and ventricle. Their fascination with the content has pushed them engage fully with the material. Receiving this grant will support us to implement the full program.
