Teaching visual arts is truly a work of heart. I have spent many years developing my curriculum and building a holistic creative experience for my students, all on a shoestring budget. As time has passed I have been able to stretch my dollars, but, I am finding that harder and harder to do. I source as much as I can from donations, freebie sites and the kindness of people who want to support public school arts.
The items in this project will cover a multitude of classes and a multitude of projects.
I teach all three grade levels with four different curriculum sets among them. All of these materials will serve filling out the needs list that I didn't complete with this school years budget, and that is the main purpose of this project, to finish what my students need to be successful for the coming school year.
My kiddos are amazing, I am blessed to teach a rotation class at all three middle school grade levels, as well as an advanced art class at the 8th grade level. I cannot express how amazing each grade is and how what they produce helps them unlock their creative potential.
