My students need a way to share their work with their peers in real time with a document camera.

My Students
My students inspire me. All 5 science classes are different, yet similar in their amazement at things they see for the first time. Things hiding in plain sight are frequently the most interesting to them, and sometimes it's something new.
My incredible, diverse teenagers are students at a big urban high school.
But it feels like we are in a small community of learners of science.
I believe Science is one of the best ways for students to communicate across cultures and socioeconomic levels.
My Project
In our science class we frequently look at slides under a microscope. Sometimes, a group will want to show everyone what they see but don't because it would take too long.
A document camera would solve the problem of having everyone shuffle through to see what's under the microscope.
The entire class can observe together at the same time.
A document camera can be used for anything a student would like to present to his or her class. And of course, I would be able to easily show examples of different problem-solving techniques, such as how to answer a given problem, draw graphs (typically difficult for 9-10th graders). Lastly, it would be much easier to show exemplary student work.
