This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials I am requesting for my students are items that are essential for our every day use. I teach English Language Arts for high school Special Education students.
In a resource ELA classroom, items such as highlighters, personal white boards, and guided bookmarks, are all important in accommodating their needs.
The notebooks requested will be for journaling and note taking.
Guided bookmarks will help our students track their reading. White boards will be used to work one on one or in small groups. Highlighters will be used in our reading and note taking.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
