My Students
My students are excited, ambitious, and curious about the world around them. They always have a question to ask or a story to tell. My students are a diverse group of eager kindergarteners: ethnically, culturally, economically, and academically. I am a teacher at an International Baccalaureate school where students are exposed to a second language, art, music, gardening, technology, and character studies.
My students enjoy school and learning but especially love working with technology.
They need new and current technology that will support their learning in the classroom. They are the learners of the future and I want to give my students the best possible start to the beginning of their lifelong journey of learning.
My Project
I am requesting two Apple iPads. This project will allow all of my students to have access to technology and use apps that will support their learning throughout the day. My students will be able to use math games and literacy games, as well as view science and social studies curriculum.
My project allows students to be engaged, independent learners and have fun at the same time.
I am asking for two iPads which will allow my students to work together in partnerships. My students will become better communicators as they work together to learn using the iPads. These iPads will continue to service future kindergarten students as well.
