Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a title one school, where most of my students are English language learners. They come to me with a below average score on the state test and because of their hard work and efforts throughout the year, most of them leave either on grade level or they show growth.
I feel that all my students have great potential and would like to start their 2019 - 2020 year prepared and organized.
They will spend less time searching for their notes and more time on learning.
My Project
Time spent teaching is so valuable yet limited to us and our students. The binders will help to decrease the time in "Looking" for where they need to be and increase their time learning.
With Binders, the students can start learning how to organized their work and start to prepare themselves for college.
They will also learn the responsibility of keeping what is important throughout the year and deposing of what is not.
Thank you in advance for helping all teachers by purchasing items that we would have to purchase ourselves if it wasn't for generous, and thoughtful like yourself.
