Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The first item I selected is a classroom trampoline for my special needs preschoolers. A trampoline will allow our students to burn energy and work on their gross motor skills. The trampoline will also help their coordination and give them a confidence boost!

The other items I selected are toys for fine motor development.

Fine motor skills are essential for performing everyday skills like self care tasks (e.g. clothing fastenings, opening lunch boxes) and academic skills (e.g. pencil skills of drawing, writing and coloring, as well as cutting and pasting).

These items will enhance our classroom and benefit our students in their gross motor and fine motor development. Thank you for your generous donation!
