With One Table We Can Write, Draw, and Create!

Help me give my students a table to use while in small groups. We just received floor seats to help maintain proper posture. Now my students would benefit from having a solid surface to write on.

My Students

Many of my students enter our school for the first time in kindergarten. They come from smaller outside daycare and preschool programs. Entering into a large school can be intimidating and scary for some kids. There are so many new things to learn and try out.

My students are inquisitive, curious, and playful learners!

They spend an equal amount of time learning how to regulate their bodies to be able to learn. Being able to name emotions and know strategies to regulate your own body is quite the learning process.

My Project

We work in a small space everyday. To make the most room we do not have regular tables/chairs. We have been using clipboards, but as some of the youngest learners it is best to have proper materials when learning for the first time. A table will help students be able to write, draw, and create without limitations! Please consider helping us!

A table will help students to maintain the correct posture and grip throughout their entire assignment.

This is such an important skill to learn at a young age and it is a skill students will continue to build upon. If they learn the correct way now it will stay with them!
