My Project
My goal is to build a classroom that has strong readers. From a morning message that greets my students as they walk in the door, to shared readings, poems, and songs, a new pocket chart will allow all of my students to engage equally with the new reading program.
This easel is mobile and will allow me to hang chart paper and pocket charts, as well as write messages.
With a new pocket chart, my students will be able to come up and share their ideas, have a view of the sound cards, and add on or ask questions of their classmates. Over time, they will be able to pass the pen to one another and take charge of their own independent learning.
