This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are creative, talented, and determined about learning. They also honest, fun, and happy kids. They are living in rough neighborhood area with 100% receiving free breakfast and lunch from school.
My students must gain a new skill to improve their academic by using online platform during this pandemic time.
They would continue their learning virtually from a variety of classroom and school resources. My students could benefit from the digital and distance learning that they are watching from home. I would to make sure, I am also taking care their social emotional learning.
My Project
My students are fantastic learners. They are trying hard to do their online learning at home from many different apps and websites. The easel is a one way to build a human connection with them. They will listen to their teacher’s voice, they can see their teacher’s face and have a communication with me while they are improving their reading, math, science, social studies, STEM and art by using an easel.
I would like my students to feel like they are in the classroom.
The easel will be a great support for our online morning meeting, a lecture, an art class, or a game but also will be a nice touch addition later for our classroom. I can have an interactive two ways lesson with my amazing students while I’m zooming with them. Nor, I can video recording myself by using this simple easel to model and teach the lessons and then later share it with them. Consequently, an easel is absolutely can be part of our distance and remote learning.
