With New Soccer Goals, We'll Reach Our Recess Goals!

Help me give my students regulation-sized soccer goals so that we can maximize their time at recess and give them all a chance to play and enjoy the game they love.

My Students

My students are a diverse group of young people who love to play and learn. They come from around the globe and speak many different languages, but one of the things they have in common is the love of the game of soccer!

We have a grandparent who donated one homemade goal and a staff member who donated the other goal, but when you have 30 kids who want to play soccer and 8 who want to play goalie, the 4x6 goal isn't quite big enough!

My Project

New soccer goals will give more students the opportunity to engage in the game they love! Soccer players have to work together as a team in order to be successful. At school, one of the ways we promote teamwork, a lifelong skill, is through team sports such as soccer.

Research clearly states that play is essential to development, because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children.

With the purchase of additional soccer goals, more of our students will be on the field, running around, having fun and engaged in the game. Helping kids stay fit and healthy through active play, helps kids stay engaged in learning throughout their school day!
