My Students

My first grade students come to school ready to learn with a smile on their face every day! I teach at a Title I school, which means the majority of my students receive free or reduced lunch.

My project will enhance the learning for 14 diverse students.

My goal is to provide my students with the best learning environment. I want them to love school and learning. I want help my students to meet their maximum potential. It is important that my students learn to be good community members.

My Project

These books and weekly readers will help me achieve the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place where I teach my students to love to read. They already enjoy being read to and reading independently.

The new books and weekly readers will help my students learn to read at their grade level.

The Scholastic Weekly Readers will bring current events and cross-curricular lessons into our classroom. We will read them together every Wednesday. The students will each receive a copy to take home every week to share with their families. The STEAM books will be read to the students and placed in our classroom library for them to re-read on their own or with a partner.
