My students come to school eager to learn. They love working together, sharing their ideas, and helping their peers. Because my students are very energetic, they love learning through active, engaging, and hands on activities. They are not content to sit idly by and let the teacher do all of the work.
These students are highly motivated by learning that occurs through social interaction.
They are always eager to assist their peers in a variety of ways. They love to help friends succeed in anyway they can. They are truly kind, amazing people!
My Project
Flexible seating is quickly replacing traditional school settings by providing students with options on where to sit. Research has shown that it increases student engagement and positive attitudes towards learning. This, in turn, will lead to higher academic outcomes.
My desire is to create an environment where my students are excited and eager to read!
These seats will be placed in our classroom library to be used by students while they read independently. By providing a variety of seating options they will look forward to quiet reading time. And because reading is the cornerstone of all future academics, it is crucial that their love of reading develop at this early age.
