With Demands in Integrated Technology, Teachers Need Tech!
Help me give my students a classroom Dell Inspiron laptop computer that will enable me to deliver instruction effectively on a daily basis. In today's classroom, the most effective teaching aid is an updated laptop.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school serves students in grades ETK-6. We are a Title I school from the inner-city public school and 100% of our students are on the federal free meal plan. Most of our students usually get dropped off and arrive at school at 7:30 AM and continue to stay at school until 6:00 PM. Our school is their home away from home
I work with energetic and motivated second graders who are eager to learn.
I would love to have the opportunity to create an environment that empowers all my students to reach their full potential as scholars and citizens of the 21st century.
My Project
Can one imagine a teacher in a classroom without an up-to-date laptop? My chromebook was given to me a few years ago and is not functioning properly. I have to use my own cell phone device on a daily basis.
Many of the activities in my curriculum require that I begin each lesson with a brief video that either directly reinforces math, science, or social studies concepts.
A functioning laptop is the most effective teaching tool that a teacher needs and uses to motivate and inspire in daily lessons every day.
The jobs of an up-to-date laptop can help do the following more effectively:
Online attendance access on a daily basis.
Use technology to connect video online such as "Leader In Me," clips of exemplar habits are illustrated for students.
Activate students' prior acknowledge with "Real World Math" before I introduce a new chapter in My Math.
Assign assignments in various subjects online and analyze data online platforms
Utilize my laptop to demonstrate how I'd type my story in Google Classroom
Nearly all students from low‑income households
