Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are sweet, caring, funny, and energetic. They love coming to school to learn. This year with Covid-19, it is difficult for them because they want to touch everything, but they need to stay socially distant from their peers.

They are so creative and love to help keep our classroom clean and safe!

As a first-year teacher, it is wonderful having students who love to help make our room a home!

My Project

The chair pockets will make a difference in students' learning because they will save transition time. It takes students so long to walk to their cubby to take out their materials, walk back to their table, and then take out the materials. With the chair pockets, they will have everything they need right at their table!

This will make it easier for the students and save instructional time.

They will get less distracted because they will not have to get up out of their seats to get their materials after each lesson.
