Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 25 amazing and hardworking students in my PK class who love to explore and learn. We are an inclusion class with 3 Explore and 22 General Ed students. I work for a Title I school and most of the families of my students were greatly affected by the pandemic. Without having school materials, some of my students will have a hard time absorbing concepts thru virtual learning, and may have a hard time engaging.
My Project
Our amazing class is staying positive despite the challenges we are all experiencing due to pandemic. My students are working twice as hard with the help of their supportive parents to be on track with the lessons we discuss every single day.
Because of their dedication in studying and eagerness to learn, I am requesting workbooks for each one of them so they won't have to use the loose sheets of photocopied activities that I am handing out every month.
Learning will be more fun and interesting with this colored workbooks with stickers!
