My students need a larger screen HDTV for viewing the videos we sing along to each day. We will also need the necessary cable to connect our computer to the bigger screen.
In our preschool we spend our day singing, dancing, exploring, creating and learning new things. Not having the resources I need makes it very challenging to give my students a rewarding educational experience they deserve.
Our school is located in a rural area.
My students come from a close-knit community and when you walk into our school and into our classrooms you will get a good sense of this closeness. The students who attend our preschool come to learn and with having resources available helps make this a smooth process.
My Project
Right now we are using a laptop to view the videos that we sing along with each day. We start our day by singing our welcome song and then end our day singing our alphabet, numbers, days of the week, months of the year and we can't forget our bear hunt song. With 12 students we have a hard time spreading out enough so that we don't bump a friend but yet stay close enough so that we can see the little screen. With a bigger screen HDTV we will be able to spread out and really enjoy singing and dancing. We are also asking for the cable so that we can connect our computer to the bigger screen.
My students will enjoy this big change in our class.
It will help keep my students engaged in our learning through song and dance. The students will be encouraged to move more freely without the worries of trying to see a small computer screen.
