This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will support the students in my entire school and the students who specifically receive special education services within my school. These materials will support students from pre-K through 5th grade. These supplies and materials will support reading needs, math needs, sensory needs, teacher needs, and cultural inclusivity. I am very fortunate to have received the opportunity to support our students and integrate tools that will benefit students learning and environment while at school.

Being a teacher is a hard job but it is so rewarding and having the tools needed to help our students succeed is a great opportunity.

The noise canceling headphones and sensory tools will support my students environment by providing emotional regulation. The students I work with receive special education services, I tend to teach wherever they need. The easel will allow me to move with my students and teach them in any environment when necessary. The visual timers will support the whole school by allowing all classrooms to provide visual support to students who need time regulation. Many of the toys/games will support critical thinking, stem building and creative imagination.
