This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are hardworking and love to use the computer lab. What they don't love is the tangly mess that comes from having 3 different peripherals that get tangled between all the computers. With a headset, mouse and keyboard every day we spend hours untangling the three devices at each individual computer and between different computers.

Our school is a high needs school, which can be a challenge and an asset.

It is school wide Title Funded school with a free and reduced lunch rate around 70%. We have a very diverse population, with the majority of the students speaking Spanish. We love our students and feel while having such a diverse population presents challenges in language and culture, It also makes us unique and I believe stronger because we are able to share many different customs, cultures and beliefs.
