This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each kindergartner in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the methods and environments with which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate various learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of excited and ready-to-learn students each year!
With that being said, this year my group of students are curious and oh-so-creative.
They ask a ton of questions on a daily basis, which I absolutely love! Many of their questions are about animals and their habitats, and they are also curious about foods and plants and how they grow. It is amazing to see how curious they are about life and life cycles at such an early age. I'm one proud teacher!
My Project
My kindergarten students are all about technology, but they are used to touch screen devices. Our school uses laptop computers that most (if not all) don't know how to use.
A lot of our district testing is through an online program, and I think using a wireless mouse will help my students navigate it more easily.
I want them to be successful, and not being able to do their best because of technology issues is heartbreaking. I know these computer mice will help them immensely. Each mouse needs batteries, and these Triple A Batteries will help me get them started right away (and have some ready in case they run out).
