My Project
Students learn how to use various software in class and the wired mice allow students to learn mouse controls needed to efficiently use the software. It allows them to learn skills professional designers use. For example when using Fusion 360 the mouse allows students to easily zoom, orbit, and rotate which is more difficult using the trackpad on their laptops.
Students learn by designing, building, testing, troubleshooting, and presenting their ideas using K'NEX through hands on play.
These manipulatives allow for nearly unlimited use for design challenges and creative play. Students can use their imaginations and test ideas easily and quickly. From building bridges, to towers that can hold weight and anything in between. These materials will be able to be used for years to come.
