My Project

Our Piano Keyboard Lab is ever evolving and growing in versatility and capabilities. The first step was the original set of projects here on DonorsChoose that were funded by amazing individuals and organizations that provided 16 electronic piano keyboards, 16 piano benches, and 16 sets of lesson books. All of these items have already been in use bringing music education to our students in ways that previously were not possible. Recently, the school was able to provide a music lab listening system to allow for more varied forms of instruction to take place in the classroom.

Now that we have the listening system, the Piano Keyboard Lab is now in need of new headphones that have built-in microphones to allow for two-way communication between the student and the instructor.

These JBL wired headphones will not only provide quality sound while students are playing, but they also have the microphones needed to use with the new listening system.
