This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are widening their world views and growing as world citizens by adding German language as one of their skills.

Through the German 1 course they investigate, acquire, and practice German language skills through reading, writing, listening, and SPEAKING!

My Project

The new normal means that connecting students in the building with those learning at home means overcoming some unexpected challenges, such as echoing headphones and cruddy microphones.

With the right tools these challenges don't get in the way.

We need isolation shields and a USB Microphone Podcast Recording Kit.

The plus? This works as we try to connect with WORLDWIDE speakers of German too!

When we have our micro-studios set up, we will be able to speak to each other across the internet, make quality recordings which show off our skills, and best...SPRICH DEUTSCH!! We are IGNITE! Wir sind IGNITE! Juchee!
