This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, I see that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. In my classroom, I strive to create a positive learning environment in which they can thrive. In our class, our goal is to give our all every day.

My students are sweet, smart and hardworking.

They deserve the very best that this world has to offer. I can't wait to watch them achieve their hopes and dreams!

My Project

Flu season this year has been extremely bad in our area. In order to make sure that my students stay healthy, we need more supplies to clean our classroom. At the end of each day we use Clorox Wipes to wipe down the student desks, and because of that we run out of them quickly. This project will provide our class with more desk wipes, and it will also provide us with electronic safe wipes to use on our computers. With the various spray cleaners, I can clean the common areas around our classroom.

Our ultimate goal is to keep the students healthy so they do not miss important information while out sick.
