Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in kindergarten and first grade.
They have disabilities including, but not limited to autism, specific learning disabilities in both auditory and visual processing delays, developmental delays, ADHD, speech and language impairments, among other disabilities.
Our school is located in a rough area of South Los Angeles, where the majority of students come from very low-income households. They are a great bunch of inquisitive, fun, and diverse learners who need extra support and resources to aid and enrich their learning.
My Project
School has always been a place where kids can quickly pick up the common cold and/or other viruses. With the pandemic still going on and my students not yet qualifying for the vaccine, we need as much help cleaning the classroom and keeping their little hands germ-free.
Please help us get a huge variety of Clorox wipes to help clean and disinfect all heavily traffic areas in my classroom.
We also need hand sanitizer and wipes to help keep their hands germ-free as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal and considering donating to keep my kids healthy.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
