Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students attend a TK-5th grade, Title I income, school in the heart of San Diego, CA. 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. The cultural diversity in my class encompasses students from almost every continent. Each student brings a heritage that further enriches their unique identity. My students have a range of mild-to-moderate disabilities, such as Autism, Learning Disability, and/or Attention Deficit Disorder. Each student radiates happiness and joy coming to school.

My students are passionate about their learning and helping one another.

I want to reward them for their perseverance this school year with some Christmas joy! Each student will get a stocking full of goodies to enjoy during the winter break. The stockings will include their favorite snacks, toys, and winter goodies! I’m hosting a class winter party with a hot cocoa bar, ornament decorating, photo booth, and popcorn station! Your assistance will help make all of this possible.
