My Students

I have a classroom of twenty-seven, fun and energetic kindergarteners. I am currently teaching in Oklahoma and I absolutely love it. This is my first year teaching kindergarten. It has, and will be, a great adventure for me and my students. I could not be more proud to call them "my kids".

Our school sets very high standards for all employees and students.

This has been something I am so grateful for because I have been able to learn from the best when trying to create a positive learning environment and experience for my students.

My Project

My students will benefit greatly from these math and literacy centers. As a teacher, I love providing my Kindergarteners with exciting learning experiences. I truly believe these materials will do just that!

My Kindergarteners have actually helped me select some of these materials.

I had a Lakeshore catalog that I let them look through and circle some things they would like. They are excited to add the math materials to our math centers as we are beginning to learn simple operations and number sense. The literacy centers will help them continue to work with words and the formation of words and letters. We rotate through these centers everyday and most of the students choose these types of activities during free choice time. I am excited to see the learning that occurs while my students are having so much fun!
