My Project
Jackson, Mississippi is an area that is already affected by limited resources, low socioeconomic factors, as well as high crime. Recently, our area was hit with a devastating winter storm that left us without adequate water supply, efficient heat, and low food supplies.
For many of my students, school is a safe space for them.
They come here to get food, be comforted as well as be educated. The snacks and water will help my students get through the day by supplying much-needed nourishment and refreshment, the sanitary napkins will help the young ladies because most are not able to buy their own, and do not have any at home. Please help me provide these needed supplies for such deserving students. They should not have to suffer because of natural disasters they do not have control over.
