My Project
Funding this DonorsChoose project would have a profound impact on students, especially during the challenging winter months. The cold weather can make it difficult for students to focus and feel comfortable, but providing them with snacks, gloves, hats, and tea would ensure they stay warm and energized throughout the day. More than just physical comfort, offering these resources would show students that they are cared for and valued. Additionally, an emotional outlet—whether through counseling activities, or quiet time to reflect—would give them a safe space to express themselves. This holistic support can make coming to school feel like a more welcoming and positive experience, helping them stay engaged, motivated, and ready to learn.
