My Project
Our preschoolers should not have to go without during this coming winter season. I would love all my students to be covered with warmth during the colder months while we are having recess outside. We visit the playground every day. We are requesting winter mittens, hats, and scarves for our preschoolers. We live in a low income area and many of our students come to school without these much needed winter clothing items. It's cold outside and we want our students to stay warm!
Keeping our children warm during the colder months is essential not only to their overall health but to their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Only when a child is sufficiently warm can their energy be used to support the developing brain, heart, liver, lungs, and other organs.
Warmth is probably one of the greatest gifts we can give children. Not only the warmth of our love but also keeping their physical bodies warm. I would love for all of our preschoolers to come to school prepared, with the proper clothing for the weather, which is why our project is so important. Please, help me keep my preschoolers warm this winter with clothing items to keep them warm.
