Winter Clothes to Keep Our Scholars Warm

My Project

At our Title I school, we have a student population that serves over 80% of students of color. In addition to this, 70.1% of students and their families are registered as "low-income" and receive free and/or reduced lunch.

To prepare our scholars for the winter, this project has jackets for scholars at our school, in grades kindergarten to fifth grade, so that they can be warm and comfortable while they learn.

Being mindful of the student population we serve and the needs that they may all have, we hope that this project will create a warm environment for them to learn. In addition, we want our students to stay warm during their winter break as well!
