This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
All of my wonderful students live in a great city in Michigan. Our class is made up of various ethnic and family structures and all come from low economic backgrounds. My students will take on challenges and explore the wonderful world of books through arts and crafts, playing with manipulative items, and moving their bodies. There is something for everyone at this school.
The teachers here ensure that students are equipped with what they need to be successful in life!
A balance of high and low activities engage my early learners. Learning is always fun here!
My Project
Having a clean and safe environment is essential to learning. Healthy students are able to focus better and experience less absenteeism. The Clorox wipes, toy cleaner and paper towel will help restore our classroom to a sanitized environment. When teaching little ones keeping the classroom environment clean is a challenge, however this project will allow for that to happen.
Creating a healthier learning and working environment is top priority!
The basic essentials that are not provided such as Kleenex and soft soap are greatly needed. Funding this project will help keep my students healthy and strong so they can succeed in all content areas.
