My Project

Winter break is something our students wait anxiously for every single year. But every year, teachers need to take time in January to reteach routines and expectations when the students come back.

These trays, organizers, and other materials will help my students start 2023 off strong with refreshed routines and organization in the classroom.

As a first-year teacher, effective classroom management relies heavily on my ability to set consistent and effective expectations for my students. It's not always easy, and there is a lot of trial and error involved in the process.

These materials were selected with the goal of helping our class speed up transitions, store and keep materials (to prevent losing them!), and streamline the feedback opportunities when passing back work. Students who struggle with reading analog clocks will have better access to telling time as they go to speech, resources, and MLL class. All of the students having their own individual magazine file to store workbooks and consumables will make it easier to start class without worrying about where kids' books have ended up, whether it was lost or accidentally grabbed by another student.
