My Project
The students will utilize new clarinet and saxophone accessories to play and build solid musical fundamentals. The materials will help us when we present concerts for the school, the surrounding community, and at regional events outside of school.
After the students perform in concert, they share their experiences with younger students (elementary) in hopes of encouraging them to participate in their music program, as well as with older students (high school) through mentoring, as they strive to one day become members of a high school band program themselves.
For years, the students have been able to provide meaningful service with limited resources. This is their opportunity to set new, higher standards in their musical outreach.
