Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school has two computer labs that service the entire school grades Pre-k -5th. This includes our student with special needs. Some of our students do not have the opportunity to use computers other than at school. Most of the students come from various cultures and statuses that do not grant them the use of computers on a regular basis.

The students come to school eager and ready to learn, our school song is 'I LOVE school!"

They are excited to learn with technology and throughley enjoy the opportunity to do so. However, our school is old and had few updates with that being said it can be very frustrating for the students to use the outdated or broken equipment.

My Project

The headphones and mouse pads are eagerly awaiting arrival with your generous contribution to my computer labs. Many of my students do not have the opportunity to experience the use of technology with nice clean equipment. My students want to experience the world of technology with comfort.

With your generous contribution to our project you will help to increase the desire to use technology with great ease.

Not only will the students have nice ,clean and workable equipment to utilize during the use of the computer lab. The students will be able to do the state required computer based testing with comfort which will increase the chance to score above average.

By implementing the new headphones, mouse pads and electric hole punch the computer labs will run more effectively and with much more ease with working accessories.
