My Project

I love my 6th graders! They are funny & always keep me on my toes. They also have brains that are still developing and they often forget things (like pencils). Rather than fighting that battle, I always offer kids to borrow & check out pencils during my class. By offering them to use a pencil, I can avoid a power struggle, a trip to their locker & a bigger issue. Plus, they can now complete their work in my class!

We are also a PBIS school, which means kids can earn points for positive behavior & then spend those points on purchasing items from a teacher’s “store”.

These items can be anything from snacks to little toys to special treats & the kids love it! Up until this point, I’ve been buying those items myself with personal funds.

I’m hoping that with this project, I can restock all my school supplies so that my students have what they need next year without running short. I just want what’s best for my students & these supplies will be greatly appreciated and used regularly!
