This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students don't usually like writing but when I introduced my class to writer's workshop they have been inspired by each other's story telling. I remember being told there is no such thing as good writers, only good editors. I believe this is true, because writing is a long process, from brainstorming to the finished typed up writing.
My students need these materials to enhance each stage of their writing.
Thee pens will help them edit, and elaborate their writing during the draft phase. The post-its are great for feed back from myself and other students. Lastly, ink cartridges are need so I can print out the students final drafts. The look of pride on students faces when they see their ideas on paper is priceless.
