Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will help support students' social-emotional needs. I have chosen games and fidget toys that will help support students that are struggling to manage their emotions. These incentives will help students cope with feelings like anxiety or anger. Some of these toys will also be placed in the classroom treasure box or as prizes for my WOW! Board. In addition, students will get to choose prizes from the treasure box as rewards for their hard work and for following rules in the classroom and out on the yard. Keeping a treasure box with toys that interest children these days is difficult to maintain and can easily become expensive. These tools will help me with classroom management and social-emotional learning.
