Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During our WIN period we do many enrichment activities. This project is to continue the rich diversity of our enrichment through science and art. We will do things like resin, wood crafts, bracelet making, etching and various other modes of crafting in order to make kind creations for our hearts and minds.

The impact of the pandemic has been very profound and students, as well as teachers need Social Emotional Learning; which means having the right materials for our students makes WIN period a win for everyone.

So far in our WIN period we have made home made lip scrubs and faces washes, tie dyed, done yoga, painted mantras, reverse tie dyed, had a holiday party, made cake in a cup, came back and had a new year party, and plan on continuing the WIN enrichment fun by adding science to it with resin, wood burning, glass etching and more.
